For all of you cosplayers especially..

Some people get so caught up in looking perfect for this photo, or doing a better job than this person, that you forget that there are people out there, of all ages, who have the imagination to believe.  Like that story about the lost kid at comic con, or the kid being bullied at the mall and save by Batman, if you want to dress up as a hero..have the attitude of one as well.

That in itself will also help how good your costume looks.  It’s the little things man…

Remember when that little kid ran up to me with his mom or sister (i forget which) and had this ENORMOUS smile on his face when he saw I was Pinkie Pie but human?

I frequently wear lolita to work because it’s one of the few places I can, it makes me 20% happier just being in it, and why the hell not be the pinkest thing in a dark store? 
It’s not a costume, but there is something that always gets me about having a little girl ask “the princess” where to find the sparkly nail polish.

Most kids drive me nuts, but when they’re being cute they slay me. ; ~;
